What you can expect at our worship services
Whether you prefer modern worship songs or traditional hymns, a few things are always part of worship at Cleveland Drive.
The Word will be taught.
Prayers will be lifted.
God will be glorified.
We have one service at 10:00 am which is a blend of traditional and contemporary worship styles.
Sunday morning services typically last one hour, though we do go over a bit some times. There is always a good amount of music, time of prayer, and a lesson from the scripture. There is praise team to lead contemporary worship songs and a chancel choir and organist for more traditional worship music.
Communion
We typically celebrate the Lord’s Supper on the 1st Sunday and on other special occasions such as Christmas Eve and Maundy Thursday.
Attire
Everyone is encouraged to dress as they feel is appropriate. On any given Sunday, you’ll see ladies in dresses, men with shirt and tie, while others have on shorts and sandals. The main thing we ask is that you come with a heart ready to worship.
Children’s Church
Kids from 3 yrs to 6th grade begin worship with everyone for the first 20 minutes or so, then they head off for a time where the lessons are geared toward their age and ability.
Care is available for children under 3 giving parents time to worship and study. If you choose to keep your little one(s) with you, don’t worry if they are a little loud. Pastor Lowell and the rest of us love the sound of kids in church.
Sunday School: 8:45 am (9:00 am during the summer)
There are Sunday School classes for kids and adults giving everyone the opportunity to dig deeper into God’s Word and learn to apply it to our lives.
